i thought up a cool recipe for conditioner with these ingrediants...

stearic acid, emulsifier wax, distilled water, aloe vera oil, and a preservative... what do you guys think? think it would work????? my mind is brewing tonight..

I would add an oil like jojoba and an ingredient for easier combing and detangling.

I would add Incroquat CR, since it's a detangling ingredient. BTMS-50 is also effective as a detangler for hair.

I'd put in coconut oil - very good hair conditioner. BTMS-50 is also a good all round emulisifer and has the added benefit of being a conditioning agent too. Jojoba oil is also very good for hair.

Made a leave in conditioner for hubby the other night - water, coconut oil and BTMS-50 with 1% FO (coconut of course)! He loves it and it washes out fine. I'd up the BTMS-50 to about 8% though to ensure it washes out well. HTH.
