I'm looking for some way to buy fragrance oils or essential oils locally. I basically have no idea where to start! I'm in North Florida. I placed my last order with Bramble Berry and would love doing business with them again, but the shipping all the way across the country will eat you up! Is my only option online ordering? Thanks!

You could try sweet cakes. They are in Minn. There are some others on the East Coast.

Has anyone tried SaveOnScents? Their selection is really overwhelming, but they're out of New York. So def closer to me!

While they don't have the vast selection of products that BB does, they have some great FO's that I haven't found elsewhere, including a couple of "to die for" FO's -among the ones I've tried so far - there could be more! Fast shipping, superb customer service and a great "sniffy sample" deal. Pick five sample scents for $3.00-free shipping for those. All of their FO's are 10% off this month (August 2009.) Many of their FO's can be sent USPS-rather than Fed Ex or UPS ground so that's a $$ saver, too.

In a pinch, especially in the midwest - 'crafting' stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby have a (very) limited supply of fragrance oils. Think the basics like rain, cucumber melon, lavender, et al. I've had to use them a few times when an online order hasn't arrived in time and I really need to get a batch done.
