Does anyone out there know very much about this oil? Does it accelerate trace? Does it make soap go rancid easier? Any info would be great! Thanks!

If it's anything like apricot kernel, it will make for a softer soap.

According to Soapcalc it is VERY much like Apricot Kernal. VERY high conditioning, 0 cleansing, very low hardness and low lather.

The shelf life of apricot kernel is about 6 months. So, depending how much you use & how old it is, your soap might be prone to DOS.

You're welcome. If it was me, I wouldn't take a chance.

Yes, I agree with Magic Hands. It is nice in "leave in" products. I've used it in body butter. But, I wouldn't use it in a soap recipe, either.
