^^^I'm just gonna line my log molds, because I am sloooooowly getting annoyed by freezer paper. I tried soapbuddy's bag method, but didn't have industrial bags. Almost bought industrial bags, but the silicone was on it's way to me.

SO, in a nutshell: Oh so boring but hopefully dreamily functional log molds.

And, just to reiterate...lard and tallow and all emu and rat badger oil offends my sensibilities...so please, no lardy stuff for me!

LOL...rat badger oil!!!

I just popped mine in the oven. It is mostly organic and all veggie. It will hopefully be a good batch since I made 6 lbs of it! I've decided that 6 lbs is rather unwieldy and I like 3 lbs. batches better. But I mixed it all up and practiced my funnel swirl again. I'm hopeful that it will be a girlie pink and purple when it's done but having never used purple before, it was rather green when I stuck it in the oven. I vaguely remember something about it turning purple later. I scented it half almond FO and half oatmeal sugar cinnamon FO. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but now I smell like my latest batch! At least it will smell good.

oooh this color thing is thoroughly frustrating! Just pulled a batch out of the oven for the swap, yikes! Oh well, I think the soap will be nice and you all close your eyes in the shower right, lol.

And for the record, I totally respect whomever is using animal ingredients in their soap. I just don't put animals on the INSIDE, so I don't put animals on the OUTSIDE.

I emailed Karen. I am hoping to get on the list and this time I will make mine in time for immediate use. I have so enjoyed the first swap - although I still need to get feedback to some of you........I can't imagine getting feedback very quickly to 14 people - but love the challenge - what a hard life huh - so much soap in so little time.
