New to soap making and I am hooked! Thank you Soap Queen, for the videos. Great information. Anyone have any tips for making the pupils and the whites of eyes with soap in molds please? A small syringe seems to be the best tool I have found but still a bit hit and miss. Thank you!

The PJ's Tool Kit dropper is ideal for making eyes with. The dropper is actually a fine syringe and then the toolkit comes with a scraper that allows you to scrape any excess away.

Thank you very much Soap Queen. I will continue practicing with the syringe and hopefully soon the eyes won't look quite so freaky/scary! (Hey, good for a laugh anyway!)

Anne-Marie tweeted about your request for some Eyeball Soap ideas, so I whipped some up yesterday just to see how they would turn out. Here's a picture:


I took pics for the step-by-step and will post those eventually, but the basic idea is to layer black, then mica, then white in a ball mold. Voila!

Where did you get those little ball molds anyway?

I'm glad you like my soapy "eye candy"! LOL!

I got my mold at a Japanese market, but GOOD NEWS! Anne-Marie has ordered them and should be carrying them on Bramble Berry soon. I'm sure there will be plenty of time to make these for Halloween! (Again, tutorial will be posted somewhere at some point. I'll let you know!)

Okay so I couldn't wait, I had to try it for myself even though I only have a giant bath bomb mold, so the eyeball is as big as my hand. Here's my first shot. I can't wait to see the tutorial. This was SO FUN anyway!

You are BOTH "awesome", and too darn clever! I think I have created a couple of (wonderful!) monsters with my eye question! Oh fine... now I will have to try the eyeball soap; too darn funny not to!
