I'm curious -- I see soaps and other bath products say they are biodegradable... is CP soap biodegradable?

you know, it's a good question - as this is technically a salt that you are forming when mixing alcali with acid = in addition to containing natural products that can and do go rancid in prolonged exposure, I would say that it is biodegradable.
Things like vaseline, petroleum based products, plastics - these are not.

I can't vouch for the author's expertise on the matter but I found this... and it makes sense to me.


Just about everything is technically biodegradable... though some things take months to break down and some things take millenia :)
