I think we've had this question before but what does cucumber do in soap ( give it a little color? does it smell like cucumber or does the lye kill that? Do you discount the water like you do for pumpkin soap? Is this a summer thing?

Cucumber adds speckles to your soap. The scent will not come through. Discount your water to however much cucumber you use (by weight), most likely like a pumpkin puree soap.

Good day,
Thanks for all your information. I want to be a bit adventurous and experiment with other recipes, but at the same time not waste if it does not turn out like I think it should.
It sounds pretty awesome and I will follow your advise.
