Teach Soap

I never have problems with my cp soap but the batch I just made cracked within 10 minutes of pouring it! I usually make 2 or 3 lbs. at a time but tonight I did just one. I ran my recipe through SoapCalc and BB to check it. I did a simple recipe of palm, coconut, olive and shea with a touch of castor. I used 1 ounce of BB Grass Stain fo. I didn't change anything about the time between mixing the lye and water and using it. Is overheating the only thing that would cause it to crack? Can I still use it? I'm so sad - it smells so good and is a beautiful light and dark green swirl.

I really don't have a clue, but I'd love to see some pics...

You can post your pic for free on Photobucket. Some fragrances do overheat. Just keep good notes. The bigger the batch, the more chance it can overheat. Try soaping at cooler temps. If it stills overheat, put your mold in the fridge.
