Teach Soap

Sorry, guys, I realized after I had sent the soaps off to Magic_hands that I didn't put my name on them... I did the lemon poppy seed bars. I loved the bio that Spotted Cat put in with her bar, so I'll include a little bit about myself here:
I live in Ma, near Boston, am married, have a 19 year old son, 3 cats and have been soaping since January-ish. I'm addicted! I'm just a hobbyist and really enjoyed this swap. Can't wait to do another!

I got my box too!! LOVE IT! Wow, I am so impressed with the soaps and your packaging. I think I was the only one who didn't really package it - sorry, I haven't figure out packaging yet but all this gave me a lot of idea. I will contact you personally either through emails or give you a PM via this forum to give you my feed back. This is truly a soapers dream huh?

My hubby just got home and I showed him all of the beautiful soaps from the Swap. Like me, he loves them all and was blown away by how nice they all were. His very favorite fragrance is....drum roll please.....Spotted Cat's "Spellbound Woods" by BB. So, you can guess what fragrance we're going to make up next.

The shipment has inspired me in so many ways:

* AWESOME packaging by Red Fishing Girl. And I'm dying to try and make a Salt Bar!
* LOVE the wrap around sleeve on the Vinca Leaf Soap and what a cool name (and beautiful fragrance)!
* LOVE Spotted Cat's overwrap and the bar smells so LUSCIOUS!
* NOVEL idea for the Skeeter Beater bar and what a cute label!! I bet this cute round soap is a great seller!
* YUMMM - Peaches 'n Cream bar - it smells and looks gorgeous! I love the texture.
* LOVE the uplifting fragrance of the Lemon Poppy Seed Bar - what a great idea and nice wrapping!
* The Mint Forest bar's fragrance is AHHHH so nice! I want to try this fragrance combination! Nice big bar with a cool-looking label!
* LOVE Jessy V's very fragrant Chamomile & Anise Soap. Before this swap, I hadn't thought much about Anise, but now I want to try it!
* FABULOUS fragrance for Black Jack's soap (I would LOVE to have the ingredients/ratio for this blend). The swirl is gorgeous as is the label/tag.

What a great idea for this swap. If would love to do this again!
Or, I could host the next one, if no one else has volunteered already.

HEAVENLY SCENT SOAPS

I'm tingling all over. Didn't know where to start, so I closed my eyes and grabbed, coming up with Redfishgirl's Lemon Drop Salt Bar. Wonderful! I had to make myself open the package - it's so artistic and clever. I'd never heard of salt bars before reading about them here, I'm so glad to have one. The lemongrass scent really adds to the refreshing effect these bars have. Thank you Magic. Look how happy you've made us. Thank you, fellow swappers. This truly is Christmas in July. Thank you JessyV and Redfishgirl for the photos. They're great. I could go on, but will stop here. Wonder what tomorrow's pick will be. Will send e-mail or PMs as I work my way through all of these wonderful soaps. I can hear those showers humming.

I am in LOVE with Vinca Leaf's Spiced Apple soap. My husband picked it up and sniffed and said 'OMG, what is this and can we make candles out of it?" He loved it too. Trying to decide how best to approach experiencing each bar. Think I'm gonna slice off a single use piece of each and have fun showering for the next two weeks! Feedback will be on it's way to each of you.

Heavenly - I'm ready to do this again and I say Host away! Just a thought - if we had more people, we would have even more fun presents to try!

what a good idea to cut off a single piece. From the comments, I think all of the soaps will be wonderful & I don't want to waste any of them once I get them.

The round skeeter beater soap is from karens62 - I think she might still be on vacation, so I dunno if she saw the question or not.

I'm cutting off pieces too...and it's KILLING me because I don't know what to try next...and it's also killing me because I promised myself I would run tonight, so I'm like not wanting to take a shower until after I run...but I wanna soap up....but I wanna run....GAAAAAH!

Did you try the SPiced Apple yet? Too scrubby? Not scrubby enough?

LOL, I think it's funny that I'm one of the closest to you & I haven't received mine yet. But considering the little backwater town I live in, I'm not surprised, LOL. I'll get it today I bet.
