Teach Soap

Folks,

I am taking a vacation in 2 weeks to see an aunt in Montana who is very sensitive to all smells. I was going to make her an oatmeal, milk and honey unscented batch but realized that would need to cure for well beyond 2 weeks because I couldn't CPOP the milk and honey. Does anyone have a suggestion for something I can CPOP that is good for sensitive skin and has a natural scent on its own? Or a way I can CPOP the milk and honey? I am lost here. I would only make her a 2 lb batch, by the way.

Oh geez. . please, please, please don't have me learn another way to make soap!! I just drove 40 miles each way to buy a gallon of coconut and a gallon of palm. This is going to cause me to have to buy another crock pot because I gotta have the RIGHT TOOLS! (just joking).

Okay, you got me. How do you crock pot soap?

I just made an oatmeal, milk and honey CPOP soap (with fragrance), but I only used the heat of the oven light for a couple hours. I soaped at room temps, used individual molds, and did not cover them. The soap turned out just fine.

Whoa. . . I don't have an oven with a light so what do I think I would do? 140 degrees? Its nearly 90 here now so its really hot to just let it sit out. I think the key is soaping at room temperature. Did you leave the lye out for a while?
