How long have you been using handmade soap? I had some flaking/peeling in the beginning and after a week or so it was done..I always attributed it to using shea butter, but maybe it was just switching over to handmade...

That's really strange.... your recipe looks pretty good, maybe it's the water. Wonder what would happen if you substituted goatmilk or coconut milk --- just be prepared to refridgerate in case it really heats up. Also, maybe it's the water you are washing with leaving a mineral coating on your skin?Just bouncing around some thoughts........
