I'm lobbying for Wassail! Starting to think ahead for the fall and holiday season sparked by the cooler, rainy day today. Wassail is perfect. Cranberry, apple, orange, cinnamon and cloves, ginger, pineapple and lemon. A deep scent with a light sweetness. It's hard to find except in candles so I'm putting my request in.

I haven't smelled that one, but I use Applejack Peel FO. It sounds like it has similar notes.

Hm, I have not smelled this fragrance before. It sounds intriguing. While it is probably too late for this year because of the long testing phase needed to get products approved, I'll definitely start working on it for next year =)

Wassail is Old English to wish someone good health, like in a toast. Wouldn't that mean the scent would be like ale or mead?

The choir I'm in performed a Ralph Vaughn Williams arrangement of a Wassail carol last winter. The link below is a CLASSIC interpretation of what wassailing is all about (I never heard of this group but they did a great job performing it).

While I have never wassailed before, the conductor did his part in teaching us what we needed to know to emulate the arranger's wishes. The varying tempos, the texture overlays--one gets the feeling of a dance with a couple hiccups here, a trip and a stumble and a straying line as if walking home drunk from a night of wassailing. Vaughn Williams' approach is comical, of course, but he definitely nailed the essence of wassail tradition. Enjoy!

Backwoods Fragrance and Supplies carries this scent. I've never ordered from them, so I have no idea about quality

It's almost here - I'm getting everything ready right now for it. I wasn't quite able to get all the notes you wanted in there - the pineapple and lemon didn't make it but what did is: Tangerine, Juicy Apple, Orange Zest, Fresh Ginger, Nutmeg, Clove Blue, Spicy Punch, Vanilla Musk and Cinnamon Stick. I hope it's everything you wanted ... and if it's not, let me know. I can always work to tweak it for next year!
