Teach Soap

Just wanted to share this recipe with everyone because it's awesome!!!! I made it and gave it to a teacher of mine and she LOVED it. She even asked me if I could make her some more. Well here it is! Sorry that this is kinda random, but it turned out really well for me and I just wanted to share it.

French Vanilla Coffee Scrub

2 cups coffee grounds
1/2 cup raw sugar
2 tbsp. almond oil
1 tbsp. vanilla extract

Be careful with that coffee. It can stain towels or washcloths. Glad to hear she likes it.

Thanks, I tie a note to the container that warns people of that.

I use a coffee scrub that I make 2-3 times a week. I love it!!! I just have to clean the tub out more often

On a side note about coffee-every week, I dump coffee grounds down my sink. Why? (no!! I'm not that clumsy!) I read somewhere that it helps keep pipes clear quite some time ago, and odors down. Since then, I do it every week and haven't had a problem with my pipes.

When I grew roses, I threw the coffee grounds around the bottom of the plants to keep pests away.

I'd forgot about the coffee/roses thing-thanks! Wonder if it would help with deer?

I think the only thing that would keep deer away would be a nuclear blast. They have devoured my hydranga. If I find out which one of them has done that, I'm putting out a contract on him, lol.

Yeah, deer can look so sweet and innocent, then, Beware!!! I've had them eat plants that gardeners swore were deer proof, lol! But, spottedcat, look at this way-venison sure tastes good!

I live in the so-called city limits in my town & I have a herd of deer & bears living across the street from me, lol. The black bears visit us frenquently too!
