Hey everyone! I'm not just new to the site, I'm also new to the whole soap/bath & body product making scene & am just kinda feeling my way around, seeing what I'm interested in doing the most & figuring out how to do it just right lol :wink:

Thanx for the welcome, really appreciate it!

Still just browsing for the best deals/prices on basic products (ingredients) so I can go ahead & try making a few things! lol - I'm trying to stay as organic as possible & keep some if not most things SLS free b/c I have VERY dry skin & KP (so does my 4 yr old son & alot of people in general ) so that & just finding the time to do it b/c he def keeps my hands full but I loved some of the soaps in the gallery, esp. the loofah ones... anything that exfoliates & does it gently is good in my book!
I'm steering pretty clear of most (or all) cold soap process soaps b/c of the lye... I don't have THAT much space to work in @ the moment & not something I need in the house w/ my little guy hopefully that won't severely limit me but we shall see! lol
I LOVE Lush & they manage not to use it so I know it's possible but don't know if I can eventually make the really nice, decorative kinds that are in the gallery

Ok well I'm done rambling for now but thanks again!

Lush does use SLS. They have been fined by the FDA, paid their fines and continue doing what the've been doing. If you are apprehensive about lye, I would suggest going to BrambleBerry (our forum owners) and getting their quality MP base.
