Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any recipes for bug repellent soaps? I have bought some essential oils that are known to repel, I just don't know how much to use in a batch? Thanks

Soap is a wash off product. I don't think you'll get much protection that way. How about a spray-on?
Some alcohol, some polysorbate and a blend of your essential oils should work better.

I agree. The lingering scent of soap on your skin is not enough to work as a repellent.

A spray, lotion or maybe a candle would all work much better. =)
