Teach Soap

This is probably a dumb question, and I've tried searching and searching, with no luck. I made a bath salt using an FO. For whatever reason when the salts hit the water, poof the scent is gone. It smells great in the bag, but nothing when put in the water. Is this due to the flashpoint or anything? The flashpoint is 200. Others that have a lower flashpoint around 175 do wonderfully. I haven't had issues before in an FO holding it's scent in water. Maybe it's just this scent.

What scent are you using?

Never mind found the reason! I emailed and asked the company I bought it from. The scent I was using just doesn't hold it's scent when put into water. It does hold it's scent while packaged. Well, I'll mark that scent off.

who did you buy that from?

Bramble Berry has a lot of good ones that hold up in that application.

I've never heard that - can you explain what they mean by it not lasting when in the water? That just sounds weird to me. I can understand your nose becoming accustomed to it, but disappearing? What is the point if it only "works" in the bottle?
