I want to duplicate an aromatherapy oil I used a while back that had the following EO's

Lemongrass, Peppermint and Rosemary

I have no idea how much of each to use though. They all are VERY strong by themselves.

Qtipping all three makes me wonder if equal parts of all three will result in a weird blend.

Any suggestions?

Cuddles, I just put those into a scent blend calculator. It came up with a scent called:

Shipwreck:

Lavender 40/42 2 parts
Lemongrass 3 parts
peppermint 1 part
rosemary 1 part

I wonder what it would be like to leave out the lavender? Makes sense not to put too much peppermint or rosemary since they are pretty strong.

So I tried equal parts on a coffee filter and is smells extraordinarily Lemony Grassy. LOL

I almost wanna go more peppermint.

I'm going to try the coffee filter again and with droppers this time.

CP doesn't kill lemongrass...I have two right now that smell yummay!

I remember once we made homemade mints when I was younger, and weirdly enough it called for peppermint and lemon juice...and they were wonderful. I wanna say in *that* concoction, it was more like calling for a 4 parts mint, 1 part lemon. We ended up making them 2:1 and we thought they were awesome. Our parents thought it was the equivalent of ketchup on pancakes.

My bad! I guess I was equating lemongrass as one of the citrus EO's that do fade.
