Hi and good morning!

I am having the hardest time trying to figure out how to add a shipping calculator to my website. I am currently using paypal to process payments.
I tried using the shipping thingy paypal has but it doesn't work. I made a mock transaction to see if it would charge the shipping I assigned and all
it charged was the cost of the item. Can anyone help me? I have googled my butt off and I can't seem to find anything.

I'm sorry - I hire it all out to experts so cannot help. I know that working with Pay Pal is difficult (our last issue took weeks of constant communication effort to resolve). They do have a contact-us type of page that you can get through to them on.

Best of luck. Technology is definitely a hurdle to master for a successful business.

I agree- this is a big hurdle for me at the moment. I am trying to work

I finally found a solution to my problem- so far this place is working out great...for anybody else with
a similar problem here is what I am using www.auctioninc.com
They have a smart shopping cart that estimates shipping with different carriers, taxes and you can integrate it with paypal.
It comes out to almost ten bucks a month.

USPS or Canada Post, depending on where you are, has a shipping estimator that you can add to your site. I use the Canada Post one and it is always pretty accurate. I've even shipped across to the UK and the estimates where less than a $1 out!!
