Teach Soap

I am wondering if any one could answer this. Will the smelly jelly crystals soak up things other than water, like milk or juice? The reason I am asking is where I work we get a lot of leaky containers. We use to just dump it down the drain, but have now found that it take the city ALOT of work to purify the water. So to help out we have been absorbing drinkable liquid in kitty litter (yuck), it takes about five pounds of kitty litter to absorb one gallon of milk! I am looking for a better way to do this, and the only thing I come up with is smelly jelly! Thanks for any help!

That's a good question. I've never tried it but you can buy the "smelly jelly" things in the plant section of any hardware store. They're used for absorbing water to keep plants and dirt moisture-filled for longer. That might cut down on the pricing.
