I’ve made several attempts at swirling my soap and they’ve all ended up looking just awful because the soap mixtures were too thick!

I was making this caramel slice today with dark & white chocolate and immediately the “soap goggles” go on – an opportunity to swirl…and I don’t have to wait 4 weeks to eat it….

But I’d rather be soaping… :lol:

Lovely swirls. I just wish I could get my soap to look like that. I'm swirl challenged, but I'm gonna keep on trying.

Swirling for me is still a hit or a miss and I've been doing it for a while.

Soap or not that is a gorgeous swirl!!!!
I have seen few bars that were swirled that nicely though.... it does take some skill and experience. Just keep trying!

Oh - that looks DELICIOUS! I love white chocolate!

mmm.... that looks REALLY yummie!!!

i've always been able to swirl food NO PROBLEM..when it comes to mp soap, welp....not so much.... :shock:

I'm swirl-challlenged, too. I've had pretty good success with the funnel technique, but my hubby (who helps with all of my C/P soaping) wants to try and master actual swirling.

We've tried several times using chopsticks, but he got carried away and the swirls turned into a muddy mess. Our second attempt as a little better but all of the swirling seems to be just at the top. We are going to try again this weekend.

Do you pour at light trace using alternating colors (as you pour) and then use the chopsticks to lightly swirl??

If you're using a slab and you want the swirls to go deeper into the bar, try pouring from more of a height. The higher you pour, the deeper the soap goes.
