Teach Soap

Yep. I've come to the conclusion that I am technically challenged when it comes to building websites, shopping carts and such. I've been putting together a bath and body line (mostly novelty m&p soaps, with some lotions, bath salts, etc.) for a while now and would like to try selling on-line. For any of you that already sell online, are there any e-commerce systems that you could recommend to me? There are so many out there my head is spinning! Thanks so much for any suggestions you might have.

My website is through webs.com and my shopping cart is through Mal's e-com. It is in html so you do have to figure some things out but it is simple enough.

I find designing websites to be so overwhelming because these is so much screen space to cover! So I really like shopping sites that do most of that for me. is my latest favorite. Check out this gorgeous shop:

Don't be turned off by the "big cartel" part of the url. If you get the premium site package, which is only $10/month, then you can have a custom url directed to that site. There are lots of custom features you can use, or just tweak the color scheme and add your own banner.

I think it's really sleek and super easy to use. Otherwise, I switched to using a site designer years ago because it's just totally beyond me!
