Teach Soap

Which type of base could I use to make concentrated baby wipe solution cubes? I'm looking at a vegetable base that touts "free of chemicals", or aloe vera, or olive oil because of their skin care qualities.

It would have to be gentle enough to use on baby's bottom and wash out completely leaving no residue. Once processed, I would be melting small cubes into 8 oz of hot water.

I'm sorry, I phrased it as best as I could. It's a small piece of "soap" that you would dissolve in water to make a solution for baby wipes used in diapering. Once dissolved, you could add the solution to cloth wipes or paper towels. The economical alternative to store-bought baby wipes that could be stored longer and travel easier than a liquid solution.

I'm thinking of a soap base + witch hazel or grapeseed oil for antibacterial & skin soothing + essential oils
Melt, pour, and chop into tiny pieces
But it has to wash clean and not leave a residue behind that would effect absorbancy of the diapers it's being washed with

I saw this just the other day. It looks to be MP soap that gets diluted with water. If you add any oils to it, you won't get any lather.

Thank you. What's MP soap? No lather needed, so no worries there.

Melt & Pour? But which variety? Can I use Olive oil or Aloe vera for the soothing skin, or will that leave a residue in the cloth?
