Teach Soap

Due to earthquakes, I store my FO's in PET plastic bottles. They hold up fine over time. Vendors that ship in plastic, usually in HDPE plastic should be transferred to glass or PET.

Never thought about earthquakes (since I now live in the Midwest). You also have to deal with humidity on top of that, don't you?

I've learned this the hard way...
Beware of suppliers that do not include soaping notes in their write-ups. You never know what you are getting (will the FO discolor, accelerate trace, fade or cook off, cause ricing, etc.)

I've always found that Brambleberry fragrances are what they say they are. And, they don't use "pumped up", flowerly write-ups, just to sell their product. With a few other suppliers, I've been lured in by their glorious write-ups, only to be really disappointed when I got the product.

Yep, that's why I buy most of my FO's from BB, too. I'm like you Heavenly Scent, I like to know what I'm getting. And another reason I like their FO's is because they are strong. There are a couple of exceptions where you may have to go up to 1 oz PPO but that seems to be rare and from listening to soapers discuss FO's from OTHER vendors, that 1 oz PPO rate can sometimes be the norm. But in my testing, I've been using BB's at .5 oz PPO and most of those have been perfect just like that.

More value for the dollar!
