I have been pulling my hair out with labels. Im trying to design them but my printer is not doing what I want. I have finally contacted a company, however, they want me to order a min of 500. Each label I have designed are the same with exception to the fragrance. I was explaining that to the company and they said they have never been asked that before. I know that Im not the only person who has multiple fragrances......What am I doing wrong??? I just need a master copy and someone willing to change the name of the fragrance. Can anyone suggest a good company or give me a crafty idea to do myself. Any help would be wonderful.

Most smaller companies make their own. Having them printed does require a larger run of each label.

What are the issues you're having with your printer? And where is the design frustrating you? It would be a lot easier and cheaper to resolve those issues.

I make my own, but here is a thought. What about if the company makes you a master label without the fragrance and you just write it in?

I like that idea of one master and adding my own fragrance. The problem is the avery templates are not lining up correctly. Avery was unable to help. I was on hold with miicrosoft for 1 hr.....FRUSTRATION. I have the design done all I really need is inexpencive sticker paper I guess?

What program are you using to make the labels?

Print shop, I just couldn't figure out microsoft

Finally someone else using print shop...YEAH. Yes I started out using the 2x4 but it somehow prints between two labels. I started just getting the full sheet of sticker paper and cutting each label by hand and using shipping tape to laminate. WAY to much time and errors. Any good idea for waterproof stickerpaper?

For waterproofing try clear Krylon spray.

I called everywhere, the only place that carries the krylon is ACE hardware so I will try to pick it up today. Have you used it? They were unsure if it would work.

Thank you...and for further refrence liquid map does not work, or at least it didn't work with the ink jet labels I printed. Complete smear. I look forward to trying the krylon.
