Teach Soap

Hello Everyone! I was wondering if anyone could think of a good FO to mix with BB Matcha Tea? I like the scent by itself but would like to sometimes make it a little less unisex and a little more feminine.

Any of the citrus FO's would be good choices. Or you could use something like Chai Tea to make it a little spicy or Bonsai for a "green" element.

I did try BB Kumquat and liked it pretty well together. Chai Tea sounds yummy, I'll have to read the description and order some. Thank You!

It's smelling great so far. My recent batch of Matcha Tea scented bars are turning out great. You can also use green matcha powder as an additive. I hear it may work out in turning the soap a bit greenish. I ran all over town looking for the stuff and decided to try out some liquid chlorophyll.

Mine turned out a bit hazelish/greyish.... it looks like "tea" to me

Liquid chlorophyll will turn tan to brown over time. So will any type of tea.

I like it with Green Tea, but also I find it blends well with both Yuzu and Kumquat.
The two teas are still quite fresh. The fruitiness makes it a bit more feminine.

So that is the citrus's I guess.

I would love to find a bulk supply of effervescent Matha Tea powder. I love that stuff when I want to soak in a tub full of hot water.

Soapbuddy, unfortunately they don't list the ingredients on the bottle nor their website. I do love the stuff though.

I have to make an edit: the ingredients are listed on the box.

The ingredients look fairly standard and as with alot of their stuff it has a wide array of EO's.

Sodium carbonate
Sodium bicarbonate
citric acid
sodium sesquicarbonate
sodium lauryl sulfoacetate
pentasodium triphosphate
a ton of different EO's
citral
geraniol
linalool
limonene
matcha tea leaf powder
sea salt and calcium silicate.

It's like a bath bomb with baking soda and citric acid. The combo of those 2 makes it effervescent. The sulfoacetate gives it the bubbles.
If you do a search on +bath +bomb in "Toiletries: Lotions, Fizzies, Shampoos", I'm sure you can pull up some recipes.
