How do you all do them? I've been studying everything I can get my hands on (books, online) and am fascinated with patterned soaps (SoapWish, like your marrakesh soap!). Are these done with tissue paper? water soluble paper? I'd love to try something new!

I am not sure about SoapWish's soaps but that can be done with Water Soluble Paper or with Temporary Tattoos! :D

Water Sol. Paper - http://soap-queen.blogspot.com/2008/03/ ... et-up.html
Temp Tattoo - http://soap-queen.blogspot.com/search?q=tattoo

You can even use soap paint, but that takes a little more time and skilled hands. :)

Bramble Momma.

I clicked on your link for the water sol. paper, but only could see two steps. Is that all there is? Do you just pour the soap around the image? This looks fun.

Thanks for the help.

That looks like something that we could definitely try! I've seen a lot of awesome soaps with designs on the top like with soapylove (btw I love your soaps soapylove! can't wait for your book to come out!) but we'll still have to go and get the paper but that won't be any problem!

Now I'm really excited! Can't wait!
