Has anyone ever used zinc oxide in cold or hot process soap? I know in shampoos it helps with dandruff but would like to make a shampoo bar with some added for the same reason. I have family members that only find relief from shampoo with zinc oxide added. My wish is to make a 'healthier' remedy for them. If yes how much would i need in a 50oz. batch?

Try 1 teaspoon of zinc oxide per lb. of soap.
