Teach Soap

Never have used this before, but I bought a small bottle to check it out. It is pre-mixed in some glycerin.

Anyway, when you list this on your ingredients label, can you simply list "dye", or do you have to specify "titanium dioxide"?

Secondly, is there any point in trying to use TD to overcome the discoloration of a vanilla FO?

I'm about to try an FO blend that is half vanilla. I have a vanilla FO that I love, but it discolored to a deep, deep brown, almost black. Is it possible to lighten that a bit with TD?

I'm not looking for white, or even cream-colored soap. But a little lighter would be nice.

You need to list Titanium Dioxide in your ingredients.

As for soaps with vanilla, all it can really do is make it a lighter brown. One that turns that dark will never get very light using TD. Maybe you can use it in a portion of the batter and swirl it with the rest?

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

With a 10% Vanilla content, it will still be a dark brown; just a little bit lighter then without.
