I've been trying for WEEKS to master a bath bomb recipe. I've spent $1,000 and can't figure it out. I'm ready to cry! I don't want to give up. I'm not trying to sell and go crazy online, I'm just trying to give my mom a way of making extra money while I sell my other handmade items at craft fairs. What is the secret? I've tried 10+ recipes. All of mine are still way too soft after 24 hours and crumble. I've tried lessening the oil/liquid & it's still not enough. I can't make them bone dry because I want them to leave your skin soft. Any suggestions??

My typical dry ingredients are baking soda, citric acid, corn starch, Epsom salts and 1/2 TEASPOON of Mica.

Wet ingredients range from sweet almond oil, Vitamin E oil, cocoa butter, fragrance oil, witch hazel, & water. Not all of them in one, I just have all of that on hand and have tried everything I can find.

I live in Illinois so it's not super humid yet

Welcome!
There is a recipe by two wild hares on etsy that gets good reviews.
