Hello! I've had good experience working with bath bomb recipes except when I add mica to color my bath bombs, I get a mess in the tub. I know with some colors it will stain nonetheless but I really think I'm doing something wrong. The mica doesn't disperse well in the water and clings to the bubbles and sides of the tub, leaving this nasty mica residue all over me and the tub. I disperse my mica in a lightweight oil and then mix with my mini mixer. Any thoughts?

Use some Polysorbate 80 in your recipe. This will help the micas disperse into the water. Some micas just won't, for example I have a blue that just doesn't no matter what. So I don't use that one for bath bombs anymore. If I remember correctly (I'm not at home, so my recipes aren't handy), I use about 1-2% polysorbate 80 in my bath bombs.
