I tried using activated charcoal in a soap but I find the colour just comes off when you wash , otherwise the soap is fabulous . I was wondering is there something you can add to make the soap less blackish . I was thinking of using less charcoal and adding some colourant that doesn't bleed
as much , Or is it that its a expected consequence for the soap to come off as black water

Sounds like you are using too much.

I am also wondering if soap buyers complain about black bleeding from charcoal soap. I see so many of them on the market fullly black, so obviously it would make water greyish or black. I personally love how charcoal soap looks and don't mine greyish foam from it. Do you hear a feedback from users of charcoal soap?

I only had one customer complain that it stained her tub and I've sold many.

I have made 2 batches of activated Charcoal till now and luckily no such bleeding took place. Have tried with the MP & CP process. Infact, they kinda loved the blackish foam created during the bath. But yes, the soaps are never jet black in color.
