Teach Soap

Gosh, I bought my silicone liners from Bramble Berry and at first I really liked them but eventually they started pulling away from the wooden mold. I used vaseline right off to keep liner from pulling away after the pour. It even did that on a brand new wood mold. I love the idea and convenience of the silicone liners but does anyone here have a better technique for adhering the liners to the wood mold? It changes the shape and weight of my bars. Bummer. I bought two liners, I hate the idea of abandoning them after spending my hard earned cash on them.

I'm so sorry those are not working for you! Which liners are they? They are still collapsing in once the soap is poured in the mold?

They are the silicone liners that fit the 17" wood mold. yes, even after I pour the soap. You would think that with the vaseline and the weight of the soap this would not happen?

I have used large, heavy duty clips to hold the two pieces together so they don't collapse.

Thanks, I'll try that. Good suggestion, I'll have to have a lot since it's happens in like 3 -5 places along the mold but it's better than tossing them. It's Irena yes? Thanks!

If you call Bramble Berry customer service and let them know I think they can get you taken care of.
