Hi Everyone!
I've been having trouble with bath salts. After lots of experimenting and trial and error, I'm still not getting them to last! Right now, I'm using Epsom Salt, Fine Sea Salt, Baking Soda, Vitamin E Oil, Fragrance Oil, and Liquid Colour. I use Natrasorb to incorporate the Fragrance and Vitamin E Oil. I mix that first separately and it goes in dry, but after a few weeks, SOME of the bath salts (not all fragrances) are either going rock hard or the oils are completely separating from the salts and sink to the bottom. I just read about drying the salts first - I haven't tried that, but I thought the Natrasorb would take care of that? I also figured if I didn't use the Vitamin E Oil and the Colour that that would cut down on the moisture some too, but I still have to use Fragrance Oil.
So, how do I keep my salts from separating or going hard even when using Natrasorb? What am I missing here? And why does it only happen with certain fragrances?? I'm also not into baking the salts, I don't want to get into that. PLEASE HELP!!
Thanks so much everyone!
