My soaps overheats and cracks all the time. I sarted out wrapping soap it cracked, then just covered with freezee paper it cracked then nothing and still having issues. I move them out to fridge but I cant figure out why the overheating. I am in canada and its cool here. My home is not that hot lol. Getting discouraged. RECIPE IS
Shea Butter 5%Tallow30%Coconut oil 30% Canola oil 15% Castor oil 5% Olive oil15% I used the soap calk for lye and water then tried the brambleberry which is giving much lower water amounts. Got cracks with both. MOULDS ARE WOOD 2X4 MY HUSBAND MADE

When I look at your recipe I wonder if your tallow and coconut isn't too high. I add tallow to my soap and found that when I used over 20% it made my soap crack. Also I would cut back coconut oil to 20% as over that can be drying to skin. You could up your olive oil to compensate .

It's possible that your wood mold is too thick. Wood traps heat.
