Good day fellow saponificators...I think I have read everything about vanilla here. I am a tad confused as my basic question has not been answered.
How do you make a vanilla scented soap?

I have since learned that there is no such thing as vanilla essential oil? Is that true???

If so what is the alternative?

a wedding is looming and I have been asked to produce vanilla soap 'favours' help!!

I am strictly "all natural" (until it comes to the NaOH). Will i need to deviate from this to create a Vanilla scented soap? If so what is the closest i can get to natural when making a CP vanilla scented soap?

All advice will be appreciated.

There is no such thing as Vanilla essential oil.
There is Vanilla Absolute or Vanilla Oleoresin.
Be aware that any vanilla scented soap will turn from tan to brown.
