Teach Soap

I am making my soaps 7-8 oz each. They have olive, coconut, Palm oils, Shea butter, cocoa butter, canola and sunflower oils with clays and oxides as colorants. Is $10 too much to ask for a price?

I have small hands, so such a big soap would be too big for me. My 4.5 oz. soaps sell from $6 to $6.50
Can you cut the soap in half and sell it for less?

Ditto what Soapbuddy said. Those bars would be clumsily large in my hands. I like the 4-5 oz range. It's a different story if they are intended for men perhaps.

Pricing is a matter of the cost of your ingredients and your time.

Thanks for the input guys! I feel I must be an Amazon then. The soaps fit in my hands and I've gotten compliments from my customers that they were so big. I'll give the smaller size a try!

Same for me too, I also made 6oz soaps, and sold it for $8.

I love 8oz bars! I've never found them to be too large!

My bars are around 6oz though, due to my mould size.
