I have a customer that is interested in buying a whole loaf. I'm curious as to what price I
I should charge and do I cut the loaf into bars before giving it to them?

That depends on your ingredients and your cost. I don't cut my soap loaves so it costs a bit less for the customer.

I charge double my cost for a loaf and don't charge extra to cut it because that is already figured into my labor costs.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I usually charge for ten if the loaf is one dozen soaps, cut it and wrap the loaf in tissue paper. With a list of ingredients attached. Easy, no hassle, as I usually fully wrap my soap in paper with a cigar band.
