Teach Soap

I just tried soap queens spray using peppermint essential oil. When I sprayed on me, I thot it burned. And I remembered EOs need a carrier oil. So I added a little of sweet almond oil. I figured it couldn't hurt to try and it wouldnt be as drying with the alcohol in it. It worked and I love it! Has anyone tried to put an oil in with the spray?

Alcohol with any mint oil can feel like it's burning if it's sprayed on the skin. I would not recommends this for the face.
You can use an oil, but don't mix it with alcohol at the same time.

I would never spray anything on my face, except maybe some Rose water I might try to make. I've been using it as a room freshener. Very little oil was added. So do you just suggest just use Distilled water when using Peppermint EO? What about using peppermint FO?

If you're going to use water, add an emulsifier since oil and water do not mix. Unless you make a one time use, you will need a preservative since it contains water. It makes no difference whether you use an essential oil or a fragrance.
