Hi everyone!
I am in the process of designing a new line of bath salts for my business. I have the scents I want and will be using epsom salts as my base. I'm using pink salt, lavender buds, and mint leaves and they look great, but my husband and I agree that some color would really make them pop.
I am a 100% natural company, and that's very important to me. I've looked into all natural food dyes and it seems like it would work, but I've heard the colors will usually quickly fade. Here at home, I tried adding glycerin to some of my powdered root powders, but once I added it to the salt, it just clumped and didn't dissolve into the salt.
So I'm looking for help. Is my process wrong or is there something else I could be using where the colors will last? I don't want vibrant colors...just pastel...a touch of color.
Thanks!!
