I am about to start making liquid soap and I would prefer to make it with an Aloe Juice instead of water, as this seems to me more skin friendly.
Is this ok with potassium lye?
Does this interfere with any other oils?

How can you control the PH of your soap products? by ingredients? Cooking the soap longer?

What is the formula of of lye oil ratios or a good online calculator until I take a few more chemistry classes so I can work it out!!

Thanks in Advance!

Sure, you can use aloe instead of water. You can't control the pH of soap.
For liquid soap, I do a 2-3% superfat as I only use it for hand washing.
For regular soap I superfat at 7-8%
I use The Sage Lye calculator. You click potassium hydroxide for liquid soap and sodium hydroxide for bar soap.
