Teach Soap

Does anyone here has an experience with Rosemary Oleoresin Natural Antioxidant and would you recommend it or not? Apparently it helps to extend the shelf life of your oils by preventing oxidation.
Also would anyone recommend to use preservative and which one?

Cold process soap doesn't need a preservative, but I have heard of people using ROE to extend the shelf life of soaps, especially those with high superfat. That said, I've never used it, and have soaps several years old with no oxidization. So I don't see it as a necessity.

I don't use ROE. I talked to Kevin Dunn, who is the author of Scientific Soapmaking and he says that if you add vitamin E, the lye eats it. Due to the high pH of handmade soap, you don't need a preservative. ROE and vitamin E are only anti-oxidants.
