Teach Soap

Can anybody tell me what could be causing this white streaking? (see link) It's a hemp seed oil CP soap with coconut, olive, and palm oils also in it. I followed a recipe in a book. A zap test produced no effect. I'm still very new to soap-making so help is very appreciated! I can post more pictures if needed.

I can't see the pic either. White streaks could be from palm oil, adding titanium dioxide or the soap overheating.

Looks to me like overheating soap....

Was your soap fully traced when you poured into the mold?

I hope you don't get discouraged over this one mishap. We all go thru this when learning.

It's either you've overheated your soap while making it or you had too much of one material. It's very much normal for first-timers though, don't fret!

Do you mean it overheated during the insulation period in the mold?

I'm still learning to recognize the trace. That's the hardest part so far! I thought it was a very light trace...

It's still usable right? Just ugly? Haha

I don't want to make this mistake again! The trouble is I don't really know what went wrong...
