What a wonderful resource! I've been reading about making soap for a few months, and am anxious to begin my new interest.

I've homeschooled for 15 years and will finish that adventure next year. I can't believe how time has flown!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

My interest in soaping started with an interest in lip balms. I tried several (too many) flavors from a small homemade company and finally found one I loved. When I ordered it again, it had hardly any scent and smelled slightly stale. Making it myself became appealing. Looking at the company's offerings lead me to learn more about making soap. I'd considered it years ago but thought it too complicated. I figured if I was considering making lip balm, soap didn't seem too much more complicated.

So here I am!
