I am looking to make solid sugar scrub cubes, but I don't want to use butters because of the "slippery tub" issue. Is it possible to make cold process soap then add the sugar to it before putting it in the mold (similar to making a salt bar)? If so....any tips or tricks would be much appreciated. :D

You can make solid sugar scrubs with MP soap base and sugar. Sugar in a cold process soap would melt and make the bars very sticky.

Thank you for the suggestion. I am not fond of MP soap base, otherwise I would try the recipe you suggested. Could I, however, shred a bar of CP soap, heat it up like a rebatch and add finely ground salt instead of sugar?
