I love this body oil after a bath. It is very light and does not clog pores. The only oil in it is sesame. Got me wondering about using sesame oil in my body butters. Has anyone tried this? I was recently able to get arrowroot powder and tapioca flour in the bulk section of a local grocery store which I also plan to add to body butters.

Normal shelf life of sesame oil is 2-3 months. Neutrogena body oil contains Isopropyl Myristate, Sesame (Sesamum Indicum) Seed Oil, PEG-40 Sorbitan Peroleate, Propylparaben, BHT, and Fragrance.

If you make it as a body butter, make a small amount so it doesn't go rancid.

I don't want to make my own neutrogenaI just wondered if it might be a lighter choice for the oil part of a body butter. Not neutrogenaI but sesame oil. I guess a short shelf life oil isn't a good choice though.
