Teach Soap

Would anyone be able to give me information on neem oil. I know it is supposed to be healing for the skin so would like to try making a cold prosess soap with it. Am wondering how to go about doing it, and what amount of the oil per lb. of soap to use. Thanks in advance to anyone who would be willing to share their knowledge on this.

I'm interested in this as well. I have a lot of skin issues and neem oil is suposedly amazing for them. I have a few pounds I need to use, just unsure. Most sites have it in the 5-15% usage, but then the odd site has it a lot higher.

So far all I ve found was using 10% as your oils. If its as strong smelling as its quoted maybe even less. Was wondering if you can go too strong for skin problems as more is not always better. I have seen it sold in small bottles in herb stores and it is dilluted with 2 different kinds of carrier oils.

Start with 5%. Even at that rate, it's pretty strong. At higher rates, it can make your soap seize.
