Gorgeous soaps, Everyone.

This is the first swirl attempt that turned out okay in a soap I've made so far. When I first cut these, the bars looked like Colby jack cheese, ugh! But after a couple days of curing the FO deepened into the dark brown I was counting on, and now I love the way they look! Scented with BB Buttercream & Snicker Doodle FO.

Wow! Just saw your soap! These are beautiful and I bet they really do smell delicious! I just make a bath of MP with this fragrance and I just want to take a bite...

Been a while since I posted... figured I'd show you guys one of my challenge club soaps. The challenge was to use 100% natural colourants to match the paint chip under the bar. =)

Beautiful soap Heather.

So I finally made CP soap! To this day I've made 4 batches of soap! The first was strawberry which of course faded and the color changed everywhere and it was pretty ugly so I chucked it to make room for others! The second one was using the Orange peel FO and the thickest attempt at a tiger swirl! It looked bad and I figured out two reasons why it got so thick but it actually turned out cool and I filmed the making and cutting! Here's the link to one of the vids! http://youtu.be/FC23JpWF68M

Anyway I made two others since of blackberry sage and dark rich chocolate. The blackberry sage doesn't smell very strong and I used conservatoire colors for the first time and got unexpected colors! The dark chocolate is awesome and the greatest soap ever! I wish I filmed those two since they were neat too! Oh well. I'll edit this post later with pictures because I can't add picture links or photos on my iPad so good.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I have been soaping like crazy during the days leading up to Thanksgiving, trying to get all my Christmas soaps made soon enough to give them enough time to cure before Christmas. I feel like I have learned more about cold process actually making soap for a few days, than I have reading about it for a few months. There are some things you just can't get from a book! Here is my Applewoods Soap.
