Teach Soap

First of all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this scent. Secondly, does it ever move FAST.... and now to my issue. Got it into the mold, less than 20 min later, it felt hard on the outside of the mold, but the top, was oozing clear liquid (was not oil, it was watery) I have never had this happen with anything. Tried another batch, using hte same scent, no color, straight to mold... same thing... oozed a clear liquid (guessing lye water??) will these work, or what went on. Its the same recipe I have used for many loaves. 5% castor, 35 olive, 30 palm and 30 coconut. soap at about 90-95F. Going to leave it overnight, see if something happens and it comes together, but sure... looks crazy.

That one is a problem child for sure. It works best in hot process. I would rebatch your soap.

Same. Even though I loved Salty Mariner, Sea Moss replaced it for me because it's easier to work with.

Love this scent too. It behaves so bad in CP soap. Accelerates like nothing else. I now only use in MP and in bath fizzies.

I heard that Sea Moss was just as hard to work with.

I am still soooo devestated at the loss of this soap. I did rebatch it, but its ugly as sin, so, pretty sure its a personal use bar (I'd be ashamed to even try to sell it for 1.00-thats how ugly is it)

I have 12oz left, so pretty sure its going to be a bath bomb/body butter scent. Its just too amazing to toss.

Sorry for the slow reply. Sea Moss can move but you can work around that. My design involves separating the parts I will color. I scent the uncolored portion, which goes sand colored from the fo, and immediately pour it into the mold. The colored portions are alternated pours on top. Looks like water over sand and it's a best seller.

I will have to try it. I am so in love with the salty mariner scent, but it in intense to deal with. Really hope to try something similar. Will be adding that to my next order!

Crazy me... wanted to try salty mariner again. but I did. Even got a great in the pot swirl... and in the mold before it turned to cement. Mild ricing, but it worked! So excited. Now... just to see how it behaves IN the mold... hoping great as I did a really nice textured top and want it to stay that way.

If this works, will be ordering more by the pound!

I haven't tried it yet. I will have to try for once.
