Did 3 loaves of gm soap today... my first. I have 50+ loaves of CP under my belt in the last 4 months or so.
1st, NO issues, no fragrance or color, stayed a pretty nice creamy color naturally. did not put in the fridge or freezer
2nd, no issue when making, added in some 10X lemon essential oil and some course ground rosemary. Did not put in freezer... 2 hours later, it was burning hot, slight crack and soap inside was more yellow'ish, than creamy like #1. tried to repair crack and did so... then in the freezer.
Noticed soap 1 after 4 hours was VERY hot... into the freezer. Looks fine, no issues
Soap 3, no issues, lavender scented. right to freezer. no issues
With Soap #2, it was a slight crack, soap was hard everywhere, but there was gel inside (normal I guess), when I was touching up the crack, some seeped out. Will that harden up, or did I just mess up that loaf?
And, I use coconut, palm, olive, castor and shea in my recipes... I found using goat milk, it was a LOT harder to get to a thicker trace. Is this normal with goat milk? I mean everything was room temp and I used the stick blender for 5 minutes fr a mid range trace. 1 min with my non goat milk soap, it would have been cement. exact same recipe, only difference is the milk.
