Greetings soap people.
My first attempt at soap making was buying some M&P from Michael's online and having at it. The results were not what I had hoped for, but my work is getting better and better.... the more I watch Anne Marie and others. The geometric multi-pour video for M&P was great and the soap came out nice as well. Thanks Bramble Girl.
My question is this: I am looking at the ingredient list on the ArtMinds M&P container, there are a number of ingredients. For instance: Water, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Glycerine, Sucrose, Sodium Laureate, Sorbitol, Sodium Laureate and others. Is this common in M&P? I have this squirrelly idea that I might actually try to retail soap but with this many ingredients, it could scare a lot of people off. I like the speed and simplicity of M&P but I think in order to have a unique product to sell I'll have to stick with CP.
I recently took a Cold Process class and prefer the simplicity of ingredients but oh my does one have to be vigilant.
So thanks Bramble Girl, Bramble Mama and others for getting me hooked. The tutorials and video's are great. Ciao Bella.
